Last weeks makes including: Knitted Corsage, Fabric Necklace, Dog Bed, Tag Blanket and a Crocheted Hat

Last week was a busy one for trying new things. I had a few gifts to make and also wanted to make something for myself. It was my sisters birthday and so I knitted her this lovely corsage from the pattern and kit that came with this months Lets Knit magazine.

I also decided to make her a fabric necklace from this tutorial for her and this was the result.

A family member is shortly getting a shi tzu cros chihauha puppy and wanted me to make a dog bed for it in baby pink!

I made a tag blanket to match the pink hexagon quilt out of the leftover fabric.

For myself I wanted to make a hat to match the granny square scarf I made ages ago. I used the blue to make a slouchy hat from a free pattern on ravelry and then I decided to embellish it with the cute teeny tiny stars. the star pattern come from the fantastic attic 24 blog. I added buttons too. What do you think?

  1. Julie Martin :

I have also knitted these lovely corsages. I have bought some different wool and pearls to create a different look. Unfortunately my cleaner has thrown the pattern away (for which I am very annoyed) especially as I have just cast on 90 stitches to start!!!! If you have the pattern to hand and can spare the time – I would be very grateful if you could email me with it.

    Many thanks
